- Made from PVA Expandacell foam, the pack is encased in a slick double polymer sleeve
- The slick polymer sleeves prevent contact between the mucosa and the foam
- Polymer sleeves reduce the ingrowth of nasal tissue and aid in insertion and removal
- Multiple offset slits in the polymer sleeves allow entry of blood to expand the pack
- When in contact with moisture, foam absorbs and swells to six times its compressed diameter
- A string is attached for retention and easy removal
